UThe case is from Pune, Maharashtra. For years, my friend’s father has been paying taxes on his land, but only for the portion being actively used for work. No government authority ever notified them that taxes were required for the entire land.
Suddenly, without prior warning, the authorities arrived and claimed years of unpaid taxes, issuing a deadline for demolition. Yesterday, they destroyed everything. Their primary source of income is now gone.I am unsure what to do in this situation and need urgent advice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
