February 11, 2025 at 4:47 amHello guys I’m FY student at a law school in mumbai and I want to get into litigation… I have a decent type of beard which is medium sized and I keep trimmed.
Can I get into trouble if I keep the beard? as I am almost bald and prefer to shave off my head and keep the beard so that I don’t look like a grape.
Also do remember the main point…. I’m a first generation lawyer.
Also what about moustaches? -

February 11, 2025 at 5:14 amReally not the forum for this but since you’re a law student…Keep whatever facial hair you want but make sure it’s trimmed and sharp. You need to look presentable and neat as a rule. Keep in mind that judges are middle aged / elderly for the most part and will react like average people of that age group. So the more wacky the style the more silent disapproval you’ll face.

February 11, 2025 at 6:35 amNah don’t worry. It’s fine. Just keep it neat. I’ve seen many lawyers with large beards and ponytails.-
