I was given loan amount automatically by Score Climb app. I even emailed them to cancel my loan application but they have approved the loan with a non-confirmed account instead. How to solve this issue?

TLDR:
Foolishly was trying to check out a sketchy loan app called Score Climb. The loan got applied automaticall without any confirmation. Asked their probably non existing support to cancel the loan. But after hours got 900 INR loan, they have given till 5-5-2025 due date, asking for 1500. What to do?

There is an instant loan app called Score Climb app on play store. It showed up on the search of instant loan app search of playstore with high ratings (4.2 star). I just installed it, and went on with the verification. Just after I provided my name and PAN card and bank details, it automatically showed that I have applied for a loan of INR 1500 without any disclosure or agreements.I never confirmed to apply the loan or agreed to their terms . They didn’t even have proper KYC like adhaar verification, they asked PAN card numbers and tool contact access for reference. I immediately WhatsApped their provided customer number and mailed their provided email to cancel the loan application. But both seemed sketchy, the phone number had non indian code +62 and email was a non business personal email address. I waited back for a reply but nothing happened. Neither they replied nor my bank account balanace was changed , so I was releived. But around 5 PM today I received INR 900 amount in my bank account. So I suspected it was them, reinstalled the app and saw they have sent the loan and asking for 1500 with in 05-05-2025. I looked up them and found that they are scums who harrass people after providinfg loans like this, even after receiving amount, they continue harrassing for more, including family members, claiming they never got the repayment and sometimes they automatically again give more scummy loans with out any confirmations.

Now what can I do? Even if I pay them 1500 (600 more than what I received), which I shouldn’t, they might deny receiving and might again give loans without confirmation. They might call and harrass even my parents. Is there any fast solution?

they probably have you images if you gave gallery access.

I am not worried about that as I have no personal photos in my gallery, I am just worried that they will harras me and my family with phone calls.

when you already knew they will do that, why did you allow the permissions. you can’t do anything

I didn’t know they were a fraud loaner. These are the exact steps also in a genuine govt. approved loan app.
