UState- west bengal ST land
We have a piece of land jointly owned by my late grandmother and her sister-in-law (who is still alive). Both share the same khatian number. We’re now planning to transfer the property share belonging to my grandmother to my father’s name and create separate documents for the land to get our own khatian number.My grandmother passed away nearly 30 years ago, and my father has three sisters. Due to some disputes, we couldn’t handle the documentation before, but now everyone is on board.
I’d appreciate any advice on the steps we should take to move forward with this process!
