DA friend of mine was unaware of the epf not being updated from his past two workplaces. After joining a new company he was notified that his EPF hasn’t been updated through bg verification and so they gave him time to sort things out. Which he tried. One company said they changed it after we contacted them and other was being too rude to even listen but they said they will look into. A week passed by and the new company did a verification again. Only to find out both of them haven’t updated the portal still and he is on the verge of termination. We tried to contact them but there was no response. When they picked up and after losing our patience we told them that will move legally if this isn’t gonna happen. For which they replied “Do what you can” and cut the call. A person’s career is on the line and it’s all cause a very simple EPF portal update which is the responsibility of the company to work on. I need a legal remedy for this. Can anyone help me out pls. 🙏
