February 4, 2025 at 7:12 pmHey everyone, I’m a law student, and something’s bugging me. A lot of our profs are full-time teachers, which is fine, but they also still use the title “Advocate.” I’m pretty sure they haven’t surrendered their practicing licenses, which I thought they had to do for full-time teaching. Isn’t that a conflict of interest or something? Is this even allowed? It seems kinda misleading, honestly. Any insights from lawyers or anyone who knows about this?” -
