UHi all, sorry for posting all this. I honestly don’t know what to do of my sister. She always abuses my mom I try to stop all this nonsense as always. Sometimes when I am not home she also beats her up. I need a legal advice. I don’t feel that my mom is safe with sister even though I’m working from home. I have to get out of house 2/3 times a day so I basically feel that she will kill my mom if not taken the right steps.
She is 18 years old. Please need a strong advice.

M1. If she literally hits your mother, and elder to you, ask your father to intervene.
2. If she is younger than you, try to put some sense into her and if she does not listen, as an elder brother, tell her how to respect the people who give her shelter and food , and then again if no improvement, tell her to stay away from you and the mother
Might as well slap some real sense into her this time.

ADon’t listen to this advice. It’s so impractical and emotional. You need to take your sister to a professional psychiatrist and get her continuous therapy to fix the root cause.

CSee, it’s a family matter. And even if you put legal action. You will be the one who will have to go to save her. So be a responsible man.
There was post about 20 girl suffering because her mother wants share in property.Outside world is not so nice. Even advocate can eat alive a person. I have seen it.
And if possible set limits for both of them and take the lead. -

UHas your mother beaten her in childhood?
What are her pain points she tells when she beat her? What the cause of resentment?Fear of police may Stop her from beating mom but she will resentment you & mom more. She will feel isolated and her suppressed emotions will blast at some point. This is just postponing the trouble. Not the solution.
Get her to therapy without making her feel like mad otherwise she won’t cooperate. If she opens up there without any of you being around there. There is a possibility of solution.
Where is the dad?
If she is beating your mom in EXTREME, then involve police and then get her therapy.
