Loud construction noise in residential area – Gurgaon

I live in a 3 BHK builder floor where all the units are occupied. One of my walls is shared with an adjacent building, and a few months ago, they began interior work. They start drilling into my wall as early as 7 AM, continuing until 7 PM. The noise has made it impossible to work or take calls, forcing me to go to the office. However, they have now extended the work to weekends as well.

I pay ₹80,000 in rent, yet I can barely live in my own home due to the constant noise, which frequently exceeds 70 dB. When I lived in a society, there were society by laws to control such disturbances, but in this builder floor setup, there seem to be no clear rules.

What are the legal restrictions on construction noise in residential areas? Can I file a police complaint, and would it be effective?
