by inOffMyChestIndiaNow back to this:-
I am not going to make this legal or involve a lawyer, but I will definitely report it to the authorities in the institution and if possible NMC (provided I manage to find his registration number).
I’ve come to this conclusion considering several things: I am mentally stable as of now and in college doing fine. But my family kept calling me, they called me 10+ times and when I spoke to them twice it was just regular talk followed by emotional blackmail-you will not see us alive if you continue this(they said this yesterday as well), I got triggered and told that they don’t know to tell anything other than this and they pulled the same shit if not worse when I disclosed that I’ve no interest in pursuing MBBS. And told them that if I’m no more, they’re a part of the reason.
I need the institution and authorities to know that the psychiatrist is solely responsible if something happens to me or my family.
I talked about it with my guy and he is supportive throughout and is the only string keeping me alive rn.
Please let me know how I can proceed further, keeping in mind that I’m a college student without finances and cannot afford a lawyer, my family does not support me in reporting him.
Any advice is appreciated and I’ve been going through our laws and code of ethics and regulations trying to gather information as much as I can.
Thank you very much!
