January 29, 2025 at 12:29 pmMy brother is in his first year of graduation in IPU university, a couple of days ago his teachers asked for a fee for some random course which they made compulsory for every student. It was around 1.5k for 10 days i think, now the problem is my brother did submit the amount and attended 6-7 days. The teachers are demanding additional 500 for not attending the whole course, which he for the matter of fact explicitly made clear before hand that he won’t be able to attend regularly because of the travelling time taken in text on whatsApp, I find this to be repulsive and unnecessary. Our family isn’t that well off but we somehow manage everything. If this goes on for the rest of the 3 years it’s going to be extremely draining for all of us. I’m going to write an application demanding the reasons for the same, how can they just pop up and ask any amount they wish for? Either ways the college fees is a lot to deal with. To add to this today they called the parents of all the students of his class and complained about a mass bunk? I mean is this a college or a boarding school.
What you suggest is the appropriate course of action? I’m 2 years older than him and about to graduate from DU.
