Me and my friends booked a stay at kasol via booking.com on 26 to 28 dec of 2024. When we contacted the property, they said they were unable to accommodate us.
We reported this to Booking
The following was their response along with all the sorry bs
“You can make a new reservation at any accommodation on Booking.com for the same dates. We will refund you up to Rs. 5,335.16 when you send us the invoice after your stay.”
At the stay I paid the bill but the property was booked in my friend’s name.
After our stay we sent them the invoice, and they asked for the account statement of the payer for confirmation, which we sent.
Now they’re not providing us the refund saying the name of the payer and the name in which the property was booked isn’t matching.
What can we do??
