NEED HELP – Trap Officer CBI bribery case

So I wanted to know where exactly does the duty of a trap Officer ENDS. Like after trap is layed. Public servant is caught red handed and arrested. Does the trap Officer role ends there or later.
Please any case laws or anything else will help alot. I read the cbi manual but could find NOTHING about that….

My senior asked me for this I told him there is nothing specific and now he is LASHING OUT.

Please tell me in context of a cbi trap Officer.
