Challan refund for property registration in Kolkata

I had paid a challan for registration for buying a property in Kolkata. Unfortunately, the complete property transfer didn’t happen at the last moment – everything was cancelled. Only registration happened but since I never received the property, I applied for refund online on the GRIPS portal. But I haven’t received the refund yet. Does anyone know the exact procedure for refund? They keep asking me for the “query”. I only have the e-challan.
