January 24, 2025 at 10:57 amHi everyone,Iβm planning to start a crime YouTube channel in India, and I have a few questions about handling potential legal challenges.
1. How do YouTubers in India who create content on crime (true crime, solved/unsolved cases, etc.) deal with legal issues related to their content?
2. Do legal issues occur often in this genre?
3. Can disclaimers completely protect creators from liability, especially if thereβs an unintentional slip-up or minor mistake in presenting a case?
4. If such a mistake happens with the wrong case, could it lead to jail time, or are there safeguards to avoid this?
5. Are there any 100% credible sources or databases you would recommend for researching cases to ensure accuracy and avoid legal trouble?I want to be as responsible and factual as possible with my content, but Iβd appreciate any insights or recommendations from experienced creators or those familiar with the legal side of things.
Thank you so much for your help!
