ECourt marriage is time consuming.
You need to give 90 days notice and the notice will go to your address. It’s like a NOC from your parents. Once they give NOC then you can proceed further.
Its better to get married in your religious marriage ceremony.

EThis is what was informed by the court marriage office employees.
The no of days changes from state to state but overall the process remains same.

SYou actually don’t have to go to court and all, even though it is known as court marriage. You need to find out the marriage officer in your location and contact them. They will do the rest of the process. You will need 2 witnesses, photographs and id proof. When I did my registration I got the number in some roadside wall . Officer wasn’t from my location but he tracked down the person belonged to my location and both came on the day of our registration. First we applied and waited for I guess one month, during this time they check if neither of us are married to anyone else, then will proceed. No NOC was needed from anyone.
