January 22, 2025 at 1:21 amHi,
Can the police arrest family members after a daughter-in-law files a false 498A case?My sister-in-law filed a false 498A case a month ago. An FIR was registered, and counseling sessions were conducted. We had decided to proceed with a divorce through the court, but suddenly, the police came and took the family to the police station.

January 22, 2025 at 1:46 amGo for bail application consulting a good lawyer
#
Expedite to supreme Court
#
Since police had already arrested them so you will need normal, bail
#
If you can bribe the cops and ask your lawyer to negotiate he can arrange an anticipatory bail and he can let your family. Members go, if they had not made entry in the register or produced them before a magistrate-
