Hey guys. So I’m in a situation right now. My current company agreed to release me early(45 days, official is 90 days), after I got a new offer from a company based out of Bangalore. I proceeded with the onboarding with the new company, after attaching the resignation acceptance proof on Mail and the HR platform. Now suddenly my manager has increased the notice period and says she won’t relieve me before that period. I can’t possibly ask for extention of joining date from my new company since they have already booked my travel and stay. That would practically mean losing on that offer. What do I need to do in such situation. I’m super stressed about this. Even though I’m getting only a 20% hike, I don’t want to leave this offer since I was looking for a switch from the last 1.5 years. Any help from the community would be of great help.
