[Urgent] Unable to acquire character certificate from a gazetted officer for interview purpose at a government organisation

I am in urgent need of a character certificate from a gazetted officer.
I have applied in a government Bank and have my interview scheduled in a couple of day. I have tried at multiple places but everyone wants a police clearance certificate. I have applied for that also bit they are saying it will take at least 3-4 more days.

I have my passport made last year and working in a reputed MNC. So I just want to know if anyone can suggest what can I take with me so that they allow me for that the interview

I have all the other documents with me regarding Age proof, Educational certificates and all. I also have the character certificate made from my college.

So can anyone suggest if they allow some time I’m this case for the submission of pending documents

Can you skim through the advertisement terms to see if document submission on the day of interview can be dispensed with?

It’s mentioned that these are must to carry documents, but I have read at few places that they sometimes allow people to appear and ask them to submit the other documents afterwards.
I can understand that for age, caste or educational documents, these are non negotiable. But I’m not sure about this as well
