USo essentially , I am not an Indian citizen and came to India to follow through with a marriage that was agreed by the families.
I was not aware of Indian procedures , but we went through with the normal religious ceremony & then me and my wife were asked to sign some documents at the place I was staying (she is an Indian citizen).
We did not appear in court, we did not give any notice of marriage as far as I’m aware, we did not meet a marriage officer in person or registrar.
A few days after the religious ceremony , I was sent a copy of the marriage certificate which I submitted for the visa application.
The certificate mentions ‘certificate of registration of marriage under the (name of state) registration of marriages act 2006’ but I believe the stamp on it is not from a proper marriage registrar and I have a feeling the marriage number is not valid as well.
Should notice of marriage been given to the registrar, as how can a certificate be provided to me a few days after the religious ceremony?
Now I’ve found out the whole marriage was a betrayal, the other party is only using it for citizenship so I had another look at the certificate.
My question is, is there anywhere I can check online to determine whether the certificate is genuine? Do any of the above points stand out to you guys as Indian citizens and how do I go about proving that it is not genuine?
If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

UIdk anything about it go through ppl or friends see it the country is filed ppl trying some fuked to ways come foreign countries 😭😭😭you have to hide somewhere and hear what’s happening in the girl family family set this sht up 😭😭🥺😲transfer any assets to your own family or brother during divorce or any problem comes you have nothing to split 😭😭😭😭
