Need advice | relationships not turning into marriage

Wanted to check if there are any laws available for people who are in long term committed relationship but upon reaching the marriageable stage parents of one side (guy) don’t approve for the marriage , what steps can the other one (girl) take ?

It’s about what else can be done ( Ofcourse not marriage )
