So my father has been made scapegoated in a corruption case by his bosses ,seniors and his colleagues. His name pooped up in the fir on the project he hasn’t even worked upon. There is a conspiracy to frame him in corruption charges.
So police came to our house with a search warrant and I was the only one present at the house, they forced me to sign a paper to start their search for our house for gathering evidence(later my came back from office when they called him)
Then they started their search. When they didn’t found anything they took some id cards of our whole family,bank locker keys . My doubt is it in future the case starts and I will be called to court hearings jeopardizing my future? Will I be uncesaarily involved in my father’s case or even I will be having difficulty getting a govt job due to my father’s case? I’m preparing for govt jobs. Will I get any difficulty in getting foreign visa too?
I don’t have my name in the fir or court case. I was just present during standard procedural searches like when a person is enquired or arrested or interrogated. So why should I suffer? The police team asked some simple questions about my family and father and about me . They asked some normal friendly questions too, asked some questions like if my parents live in some other places or other properties. That’s all and I was anxious I keep telling about our relatives always asking money from us😅😅 our bad relatives only after when they have started asking friendly questions like if. I have friends or girlfriends or if I’m preparing for govt jobs( I know I’m a damn fool but I’m anxious and have anxiety issues) how doomed am i?
Is talking to a person present during a cbi search warrant and asking general questions and official interrogation??

Uif CBI is involved brother best course of action go and ask your Legal counsel if u don’t have one, go and speak to a lawyer, wont get a straight and correct answer in reddit,
go ask a lawyer ASAP

SAre you a lawyer? One of my lawyer friends said I won’t be called as i was not implicated in the case and I was just present during a procedural standard search

Ulaw student, dont know much about your case, hence said go and meet a lawyer thats your safe bet , and internet is not the best place for u to share more about your case if CBI is involved.
