UHi All,
I had sold a 2 wheeler in my name to a workshop mechanic, met through Olx way back in May 2019 in Bangalore. Since I had shifted to Delhi for another job then, I was not able to do proper follow up and transfering of RC. Payment was done through cash and I dont have any document proof currently with me.
As I now understand the gravity of this situation, I wanted to contact the person who bought my scooter andro do a proper RC transfer. Unfortunately, I dont have any means to contact the person. I tried getting details from Olx account, which is somehow not showing any previous ad details from 5 years before. I had also changed phone multiple times, thus losing all the contact details during the sale time.
I contacted both Traffic police and RTO Bangalore through emails and both of them are saying without any proof, they cant take any action.
The vehicle is still running in Bangalore, evident by the frequent challans it is raking up.
I would like to know what are the steps I can take to solve this issue.
