Can I create a rental contract for a property I own with a parent as landlord?

Hello.

Looking for some information is this possible.

I’m planning to put my apartment up for rent and since I’m an NRI, I’ll have to declare the rental income and pay fucking 42% taxes on it without getting an benefits due to interest on home loan.

I was wondering if I can create a rental contract with a parent as the landlord and have the income assigned to them. I would rather 10% income tax in India than anything else here.

Is this possible?
