April 27, 2025 at 4:34 amA lady, my father’s elder brother’s second wife (married in a temple without knowledge to any other family member, aged 50) quarells with her in-laws, almost every two days. The quarell is almost without any cause. Only intention of her is to disturb peace and somehow make us flee from there. She has eye on property, having no child she wants to handover her share to her drunkard nephew. She is in bad terms with almost everyone including her husband (total d**k head). She works as a maid while her husband is professor! Clothes like living in a slum, language is ‘unprintable’. Recently, she put false accusations on me (M 22) and made me see police station for first time in life. I am preparing for govt exams and know that criminal case means disaster for me. What should I do?I am fed up with constant gibberish quarells, is defamation case possible against her? What would be the requirements and cost? Also she is female, and I think law is baised towards her. (I am trying to control my rage, but someday it would burst, possibly harming myself more in long term, but it would bring peace to my family, would it be considered bailable offence? I don’t want to go on that line, but it would be extreme case, only when nothing works, our family has always been sidelined from community, now when it’s on track I don’t want to again go there)

April 29, 2025 at 3:54 pmI am not a lawyer but if I were you I would always keep my phone voice recorder on near her to avoid false accusations.I don’t know if it is legal to install CCTV without another person’s consent but if possible in the common area where you face her install CCTV.May God save you from any kind of false allegation.
