Hey guys, my friend (born and brought up in Dubai) is planning to move to India, he needs a broader understanding of what exactly can he bring to the country duty free, the law is pretty unclear.

The CA’s in his circle or mine just ask us to connect to a clearing agent, but we don’t have any in our contacts either.

Any help/ leads would be appreciated

Look for NRI forums. Depending on the duration of his NRI status, he will have certain exemptions for financial and non-financial assets.
