May 8, 2025 at 2:28 amFirst of all, my father is honest and hardworking citizen, he follows every rules and laws and will never cheat anyone in terms of finance or any other thing, but his little brother (uncle) is totally opposite of him, he would lie and scam people, because of this my father have left and mostly ingnored him for many decades, just recently my uncle request some money for his health (could be a lie too) knowing that my father still helped him, but the thing here now is he have taken money from different unknown people too by lieing and now these people seems really dangerous, yesterday they somehow find where me and my dad lives and whatsapp messaged my dad to give back the money that his little brother (uncle) have tanken from them, now we have no idea what has happened here, when calling my uncle he would not pickup the call and these guys are threatening to send their mens to send mens (in the dangerous way).I am really scared now, on call they were really vigorous and we are totally defenseless, I am afraid of bad things happening because my Dad works outside for upto weeks, and I too work part time and study when I am back home, my mother lives alone at the house most of the time.
Please tell me what I can do in this situation where we are definitely not at fault. I am having a hard time focusing on work and my study because of this, I am deciding to stay home with my mother for a week, please let me know what legal action I must take to proof our innocence and protect my family and our little home.
I also have screenshot of those guys threatening but I don’t have any recording of the call.
Please help me guide, thank you very much.

May 8, 2025 at 3:09 amBetter to involve Police into this. Since your father isn’t the one that has taken the money, These goons don’t have anything solid to prove.-

May 8, 2025 at 3:14 amThank you for letting me know, but what shall I talk to the police? Like they would ask to register a case or fir ? Or just shall I let them know everything to my nearest police station?-

May 8, 2025 at 3:18 amYou can visit the nearby police station. Initially they wouldn’t register a complaint. ASI or Head constable would ask for their contact and speak to them to back off. Even though they wouldn’t budge and keep troubling you. Then u can register a case against them. The police will guide you. Don’t stress π¬-

May 8, 2025 at 3:26 amNothing will happen. These are some scare tactics. Be brave and face them hard. They usually back off. Go to the police.

May 8, 2025 at 3:20 amWhen they call, your father should ask directly: “Did I borrow money from you? Did you give me any money? No? Then why are you asking me? If you gave money to someone else, you should be asking them. This is not my problem. I don’t owe anyone anything, and I donβt even have money for my own emergencies.”Also, make sure to file a formal complaint about this situation.

May 8, 2025 at 3:23 amMy father did say that, but then they said “tum dono sath mil kar yeh scam kar rahe ho” they believe we are involved in it too, I am really mad about this, and thanks I am going to file a complaint for harassing us-

May 8, 2025 at 6:16 amThey are using pressure tactics. Donβt fall for that. Donβt get aggressive either. Stay calm and keep repeating that they should speak to the original person.
