January 11, 2025 at 6:48 amFor your context, there is a neighbour in front of us. They belong from sc/st category. We belong from general category (upper caste). It’s just for your information. We don’t believe in the caste we believe we neighbour irrespective of any caste should live together and happily. But this my neighbour has khunas of old times that is 100 years ago how the upper caste treated them. Now they are protected under government umberella from all around like financial support, financial aid in law, strong case against caste discrimination and what not. So they now feel they are god.
The issue is they do something which irritate us. Like pooping in front of our house. Or there is open field just beside my house, there they throw poops, dustbin and all kachra and it’s smell like hell when we go outside.
2) there is regular flow of water from their rooftop on road. Due to this sometimes my mother fell by slipping in mud. Or regular flow of water from their rooftop which is exactly before my front door irritate us.
Last week we had discussion about the issues which later turn into verbal fight and abuses from their side. They denied to resolve the issue and now they doing even more.
we don’t want to physically fight or go into police because they can false claim of caste discrimination.
Now I feel like miserable in this situation, if I had enough money I must have shifted from here which they want or if I had some police power i must have taught him a lesson.
Can you guys suggest what else I can do in the situation. How can I resolve the issue. Meanwhile my parents are saying to ignore and wait for right time, I don’t know when right time will come so frustrated as well seeing all these things and doing nothing for it.

January 11, 2025 at 7:00 amThe only advice is to never initiate any fight with them, even verbally. Instead, install CCTV cameras everywhere, document everything, and submit a written complaint to the municipal authorities.-
