Can a police case be filed over social media comments?

Someone upload a post on how blinkit is scamming, and I give a comment in supporting of that uploader. But someone came and started threatening that I’ll get you in court, pura khandan sadak pe la dunga(whole ancestors in road) n etc etc & in the heat I commented very bad language(worst ones), and now he’s threatening that I’ll gave police complaint against you, i delete those comments but I think he took screenshots. And my account is private. So can these person file a case against me??

Trust me the police have way more important things they have to do than investigate you. (Not like they even DO the important stuff but whatever)
