January 11, 2025 at 4:11 amMy dad had two brothers, one younger and one older. Dad passed away 10 years ago and chacha passed away last year in febNow, tau ji sold part of land in 2023 june and we somehow got to know in 2024 september.
The area sold is equal to what his share would have been but mu concern is that the partition never happened.
My question is: can someone sell a land without telling other co-owners especially when the division of property has not been done. He willingly did not notify us and did this 4 months after chacha and dad were no more. Is there a possibility of criminal charges?

January 11, 2025 at 4:21 amThis is a civil case not criminal case
and Land Disputes can go one for decades so if he has sold his part let it go

January 11, 2025 at 12:58 pmYou gotta challenge the sale and file for partition as soon as possible. if you’re letting this go assuming that he has only sold his part, you’re grossly mistaken. He could alienate all of the property and you’d not be able to do anything. -
