May 5, 2026 at 6:16 pmSo my father who is 73 year old worked in a hotel as a cashier for 45 yrs. Now when he wants to retire the owner is forcefully telling that you are stealing from the cash register and have made the local police station call me up and ask to appear before the police station and issue a statement.. My father who is a honest man for 40 yrs of service is heartbroken thinking of the relatives reaction if anything happens.
My question is does a case stand on a 73 year old man? And one more thing when this happened we enquired about the pf and got to know that the hotel owner stopped paying pf after the father hit 60 yr..so 13 years of no Provident fund -

May 6, 2026 at 6:39 pmafter 45 years of service this probably feels less like a normal accusation and more like humiliation at the point where he expected dignity and retirement which is why it is hitting so hard emotionally the part that usually matters most now is whether the owner has any actual audit shortage records or is mainly using police pressure and fear because those are very different situations also the pf issue suddenly surfacing changes the picture a lot have you collected salary slips bank entries pf statements or any proof showing he continued working all these years even after pf contributions stopped at 60
