UMy partner and I are getting married in Bogota in about 4 months. We were supposed to get married next year but thanks to corporate lay offs, our plans needed to be advanced to now.
Under Colombian law, I can get married to him with a tourist visa. I need apostilled documents of my birth certificate and single status certificate.
My questions:
Do I need a specific authority to apostille my documents?
During the immigration check when I go to Colombia with my tourist visa, can I mention that I’m getting married to my partner?
Do I need an apostilled passport copy?
We want to get married and start our life, it’s as simple as that.
Please let me know any insights that I could have missed.

PS: no I’m not getting trafficked, I’m not a drug mule, neither is my partner hoodwinking me for my organs. We’ve been together for years and I’ve met his family many times. I’m an only child and my parents passed away during Covid, not close to relatives either.
