Hey everyone. Long post but I genuinely need advice from people who’ve been through something similar.

        **Background:**
My RE (KL85A8186 – not posting for any other reason, just for transparency) met with an accident on **February 24**. Submitted it to an authorised RE service centre (Luha Automotives, Petta, Ramanattukara, Kerala) for insurance claim and repairs.

**Here’s the full timeline of what happened:**

📌 **March (approx.)** – Insurance claim settled. Repairs still not done. Reason given: parts not available.

📌 **April 1** – I requested delivery by April 8. Service Manager said he can’t promise that but will deliver by **April 10**.

📌 **April 10** – No delivery. No call. No update.

📌 **April 13** – After chasing them down, I took back the bike **unrepaired** (mutually agreed) just so I could use it while waiting for parts.

📌 **April 29 evening** – Service centre calls saying parts have arrived. I drop the bike again. Service Manager says it’ll be ready **within one day**.

        📌 **April 30 (Thursday)** – Not done.

        📌 **May 1 (Friday)** – Holiday.

📌 **May 2 (Saturday)** – Still not done.

        📌 **May 3 (Sunday)** – Holiday.

        📌 **Now they’re saying Monday (May 4)** – I’ve heard this before.

I’ve already sent a formal complaint email to support@royalenfield.com demanding compensation. But I want to know:

        **My questions:**
        1. Has anyone else faced this kind of delay at an authorised RE service centre?
        2. Did anyone successfully get compensation – through RE directly or via consumer forum?
        3. Is filing at District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Kozhikode) a realistic option? How long did it take for you?
        4. Any Kerala-specific advice?

I’m planning to go the consumer forum route if RE doesn’t respond with compensation in 7 days. Already have job cards, claim settlement proof, and WhatsApp messages saved.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks 🙏

**TL;DR:** RE bike at authorised service centre since Feb 24 after accident. Claim done in March. Still not repaired properly. Multiple broken promises. Now 2+ months in. Seeking compensation advice.
