May 1, 2026 at 11:01 amI need some urgent advice on how to handle this situation.
A while back, I connected with someone through a sugar dating platform. We never met in person — just exchanged some messages and a few normal (non-NSFW) pictures. It didn’t go anywhere because I wasn’t in the mental space to pursue something like that, so I stopped engaging.
Yesterday, he reached out again after seeing a recent post of mine. He asked me to make a Reddit post promoting him as a “genuine SD.” I refused.
Since then, he has started threatening me, saying he’ll post my pictures “everywhere” online.
The photos are not explicit — just regular pictures — but I’m still extremely uncomfortable and honestly scared about how he might misuse them or where he might post them.
I currently have:
His Reddit ID
His Telegram contact
(Will share screenshots/details if needed)
I want to understand:
What legal action I can take in India in a situation like this
Whether I should file a cybercrime complaint immediately or wait
If there’s any way to prevent him from posting anything
If anyone has dealt with something similar or knows the process, I’d really appreciate your advice.
