May 1, 2026 at 10:42 amThere’s this website calledΒ [tryme.co](http://try.co/) where you can get gigs or something similar. So recently I got into this Image-to-Text Typing Assistant thing. So there’s no mention of website, or a phone number. Anyway, this guy moves to telegram (BIGGEST RED FLAG), but I thought “Okay, let’s see how it goes, it should be fine as long as I don’t send my sensitive info”. So guy asks me to send my resume, name, locaton, etc., basic details. I send. He asks to send a current selfie of me, I send an AI Edited one. He sends a task, I do it. He says its verified and approved, I say okay. He then asks for my bank details, So i send my name, IFSC code, account number and bank name. (I asked if he could UPI or paypal me, but he stuck to bank). HE THEN SAYS I MIGHT HAVE TO PAY CHARGES since its an international bank transfer. Bro, isn’t the employer supposed to take care of the charges??? So I said no. I told the dude I wasn’t gonna pay for anyhting, I applied because I wanted to get paid. He tried saying some stuff like, if the charges are 2000 rs, you pay 1000, if 5000, then 2500. I said hell no. And he blocked me. So, what are the consequences I’m going to face?
