Got a call from someone claiming to be police officer.

I wa sleeping in the whole day today, woke up some while ago to someone claiming to be a police officer . He knew my name and said my name had come up in illegal activities for “services to women “. I was scared because I had been with a paid sex worker a month ago. He asked me to come to sector 40 police station in gurgaon and bring my PAN, aadhar and the last month’s bank statement tomorrow and call him once I am there.

Do police call for this things like this ? Is this a scam ? I’m not natively from gurgaon, so I was shocked to hear that he knew I’m here.
