April 30, 2026 at 6:33 amI’m writing this because I genuinely don’t know what to do next and I’m hoping someone here can guide me.Around 3.5 years ago, my father was associated with 3 other partners who took an agricultural loan together through Bank. The loan is now nearing its maturity (in May), and only recently I started digging into the details.
Here’s the shocking part:
• My father did NOT sign any loan documents knowingly.
• His ITR details were taken through his CA and used in the loan process.
• The loan amount was never credited to my father’s account.
• The entire amount was taken/used by the other partners.
• Despite this, my father is still legally tied to the loan and his CIBIL score is getting damaged badly. When we approached the bank branch:
=> The branch manager and loan staff acted very suspicious.
=> They didn’t properly register our complaint.
=> When we emailed them asking not to renew the loan, they dismissed it and said they don’t care.
=> They are now calling us to the branch and making excuses like “email not aligned”.Because of this:
• My father can’t even get an education loan for his kids.
• He is financially and mentally stressed.
• The other people involved are relatives, which makes things even more complicated. At this point, I strongly suspect:
> Forgery of documents
> Misuse of financial records
> Possible involvement or negligence from bank officialsI need advice on:
1. What should be my immediate legal step?
2. Should I go directly for FIR or first escalate within the bank/RBI?
3. How can we prove that my father never signed anything?
4. Has anyone dealt with something similar involving banks or partners? Why RBI doesn’t have any rules through which if any kind of loan is approved linked to any ITR and if anyone find something suspicious easily able to complaint about this and the loan amount get stuck
Bank doesn’t care about customer they care about who gives money to them. That’s why In my last paragraph I wanted this to tied with RBI not with bank related ways and it should be online so, there is no chance of scam
As a student right now it’s a year now till I left away my education after 10th and I am so good In academics I have a dream to creak IIT and make an dam hardware and software stack in India but I am wrong I am now desperate about leaving India.
Any help, guidance, or similar experiences would really mean a lot.
Location: india
Thank you.
