April 29, 2026 at 4:54 pmHi everyone,Iโm looking for some advice or similar experiences regarding a bank account freeze issue with the **CEN Whitefield Police Station**.
**The Situation:**
An NCRP (Cyber Crime) complaint was filed by me.
I have since resolved the matter, and the complaint was **officially withdrawn** and accepted on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
**Crucially:** No FIR was ever registered. The matter was closed at the complaint stage itself.
However, my account (as i got the refund) is lien marked on them by the CEN Whitefield Police.
They say this is a civil dispute approach court but the lien has been marked by the cyber crime Whitefield.
**The Problem:** Even though the portal shows the complaint is withdrawn, the police station hasn’t sent the formal “Lien Vacation” or “De-freeze” order to the banks. The banks refuse to budge without a physical or official email from the IO (Investigating Officer).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
