UMe and my wife re going through a divorce. We’ve been separated from January of last year, 2025. I filed for a divorce in Jan 2026, since she didn’t agree to a mutual consent divorce. I filed it on mental cruelty grounds since she would throw things, hit herself, threaten suicide, cry asking me why I married her, not take any household responsibilities and leaving that entirely on me. She has filed false dv and dowry cases against me and my family after I petitioned for a divorce. I have enough proof in terms or messages and voice recordings to absolve me of these but does the court take these things into consideration especially the voice recordings since they can say it’s fake. Also what legal recourse do me and my family have in case of her filing these false cases. This woman ruined my life. She had a lot of issues which she and her family hid. It was an arranged marriage. I don’t want anything from her. I just want this to be over and move on with my life. What can I do against these false cases? Based on the proof I submit if court acquits me of these false dv and dowry cases what can I do to put pressure on her to end this as soon as possible.
