April 29, 2026 at 1:22 pmHi everyone,Posting this on behalf of a friend who previously worked with IndiGo and is currently stuck in a frustrating situation.
She resigned from her position, but her AEP (Airport Entry Pass) has still not been officially surrendered in the system, which is now blocking her from applying to new opportunities in aviation.
Hereβs the issue:
– Bureau of Civil Aviation Security advised her to contact the Base office
– The Base office told her to contact HR
– HR told her to go back to the Base
This has been going on in circles with no resolution and no ownership taken by anyone.
Because of this delay:
– Her AEP status is still active
– Sheβs unable to move forward with new job applications
She has already sent multiple emails and follow-ups but is just being redirected again and again.
At this point, it feels like a complete breakdown in internal coordination.
Has anyone faced something similar?
– Who is actually responsible for AEP surrender in such cases?
– Is there a way to escalate this effectively within the system?
– Should this be formally raised with higher authorities?
Any guidance or advice would really help.
Thanks in advance.
