My father’s mother has been staying with only us for the past 12 years even though she has other kids. Is there a way to change that all children look after equally? ( Additional context in body)

We didn’t complain about my father’s mother staying with us all these years even though she has always caused issues in my house. But the last straw was last week she sent her grandson to beat up my father. We filed a case with the police but since they said that the grandson was mentally unstable and that he is getting married soon, we agreed to let it go. But we are afraid of letting her into the house anymore. What if she does something to my little nieces? What if she brings her grandson to beat me up when my parents are not? She had turned on the gas stove twice in the past but my father was not willing to do anything back then because she is his mother even though she isn’t nice to us.. Is there a solution for this? We are willing to give financial support every month as long as she stays with her other son or her daughter.

The lawyers we consulted said that since the daughter is not willing to look after her there is nothing we can do. Can someone who is good in law please guide me on how to solve this?
