I’m a law student at Khalsa College of Law, Amritsar (affiliated to GNDU) and I’m in a really tough spot right now.
For the past 2 months, I haven’t been able to attend college regularly. My uncle is fighting cancer and has no son, so I’ve been the one looking after his house and him. The problem is he lives 2 cities away from my college, so it’s been impossible to be physically present in class consistently.
Now college is compiling attendance for this semester and I’m genuinely scared. Last semester I was already hit with a hefty fine for low attendance, and I cannot afford to go through that again – financially or mentally. This time the reason is completely out of my control, it’s a family medical emergency.
Can I submit a medical/compassionate ground application to the Principal to get a waiver or reduction in fine? And what about Sushant Rohila Judgement
