Used my bank account for Stake (small amount) — should I be worried about account freeze?

Hey everyone,

I’m a college student and I’m honestly a bit stressed right now. A friend of mine asked me to help him with a deposit/withdrawal on Stake using my bank account(HDFC), and I agreed without really thinking it through.

Here’s what happened:

* Deposited: ₹4250
* Withdrawn: ₹2675
* So overall I’m actually at a loss

This was a one-time thing and I don’t usually do any betting or anything like that.he has previously done deposits of around 56k from the past one year on his SBI account and so far has not encountered any problem

Now I’ve been reading posts online where people say their bank accounts got frozen because of gambling-related transactions, and it’s freaking me out. I’m using HDFC Bank, and I currently have around ₹35k in my account — out of which ₹25k actually belongs to my parents, so I really can’t afford any issue with it.

I’m not dealing with large amounts, and I haven’t received money from unknown people or done repeated transactions. It was just this one instance.

Should I genuinely be worried about my account getting frozen because of this?

Also, should I take any precautions now or just leave it as it is?
