April 28, 2026 at 1:05 pmI ordered a MarQ 1.5 Ton Split AC from Flipkart (Order ID: OD437371433538774100) on **22 April 2026**, and it was delivered on **23 April 2026**. The installation service was assigned to Jeeves (Flipkart’s service partner), but the experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Here is the complete timeline:
**25 April:**
Technician Shriram called around 11 AM and came for installation, but he did **not have a vacuum pump**, which is essential for proper AC installation. Because of this, I declined the installation.
Later in the evening (~8 PM), I received **5–6 calls lasting only 1–2 seconds each**, after which the system marked me as **“unreachable”**, even though I was fully available.
Late at night, another technician (Nitesh Saini) was assigned, and again I received **multiple 1–2 second calls (~11:45 PM)** with no proper communication.**26 April:**
I did **not receive any call the entire day**, but at night, the status was again updated as **“unreachable.”****27 April:**
Technician Shriram was reassigned. I received **no call throughout the day**, yet in the evening the system again marked me as **“unreachable.”**
Later that night, another technician (Dhani Ram) was assigned. Around 10 PM, I received **a single 1–2 second call**, followed by a message saying **“could not connect.”****28 April:**
I finally received a call from Jeeves, but instead of resolving the issue, the installation has now been **rescheduled to 5 May 2026**, causing significant delay.During this entire period (**25–28 April**), I contacted Flipkart customer support **every single day**. They raised complaints and gave resolution timelines, but:
* Complaint raised on **25 April** (resolution promised by 28 April) was **incorrectly marked as “resolved” without any actual resolution**
* A new complaint was raised with another deadline (**29–30 April**)
* Despite multiple escalations, no real action has been taken# Main Issues:
* Repeated **false “unreachable” marking**
* **Fake/short calls (1–2 seconds)** just to update status
* Technician arriving **without proper equipment (vacuum pump)**
* Multiple **missed commitments and delayed timelines**
* Complaint marked **resolved without fixing anything**This has caused **significant inconvenience, delay, and mental stress**, especially since AC installation is time-sensitive.
I have already filed a complaint on **INGRAM (National Consumer Helpline)**.
# Advice Needed:
* Has anyone faced similar issues with Flipkart/Jeeves?
* Should I wait for their response now, or proceed directly to **consumer court (e-Daakhil)**?
* What kind of compensation is realistically possible in such cases?Any advice or similar experiences would really help. I also have call logs and screenshots as proof if needed.
