I am moving out from my building and I made the mistake of having some wall chipping from wall safe tape. How do I go about this with my landlord?

So, for context, I’m living in a kinda shady but kinda fancy apartment. Shady because in the one year of living here, they did not install electricity meters and asked us to pay a lumpsum amount every month instead. So, now, I’m moving out in a week and… I tried to take out the wall safe tape I’d put in to install a small hanging shelf.

And all I’m greeted with in the process is this. If y’all would be kind enough to tell me what I can do to avoid my landlord’s wrath and money grubbiness, I’d be forever grateful.

P.S. I genuinely don’t want to lose more of the deposit, the guy’s taking away 2 months rent for painting and breaking lease from it already (even though we followed protocol and informed him exactly a month ahead, giving us a bullshit excuse that it’s the backrent for one month) so I’d appreciate ANY and ALL help for this. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Edit: I’m in Bengaluru, if it makes any difference
