April 27, 2026 at 9:43 amI worked for a Telangana based company that has branches in Tamilnadu for around 6 months. Since I’ve already used UMANG app during my previous job, I tried to log in to the UMANG app again after the first month salary credit of this new job, just to verify if my UAN has been properly linked to the new employer. But I found out the company’s member ID was not linked to my UAN, as this has to be done from the employer’s side. When I raised this question to the HR, she replied that “it’s your job to do it”. Later I never gave much thought about it, thinking that my PF amount will be safe in my account. Now it’s been almost few months since I left the job. And I’m trying to log into it again this time with the help of computer centre assistance, I actually found out still my UAN has not been linked with the company’s member ID. When I tried reaching out to the employer there’s no response from their side. Eventually I came to know that every other employee of them have been facing the same issue with the company.Even now if I’m thinking of filling the grievance form thru the EPFO portal to claim my PF cut. However in order to file a grievance, there has to be the member ID of the company that already has to be linked to my UAN, only then I’m allowed to file a grievance thru the app. In such case how can I proceed to file a grievance and claim my PF amount. Do any other sites like Samadhan Portal also would help to raise a complaint and claim the amount? I have no one to help regarding this issue. Please help. Any ideas are welcome.
