Friends boyfriend is abusing and giving death threats over a message

So me 29(M) received a call from my friend’s 26(F) boyfriend over a simple text message asking whether she is coming for work Tommorow or not.

What followed past the call was him sending voice message to me on WhatsApp of him abusing and giving me death threats.

What legal action I can take against him. Please advice
Also please note, this was all done through my friend’s phone no.
