India Passport: Can I correct DOB during re-issue after cancelled minor passport?

Hi, need help with an Indian passport issue. My sister had a **minor passport** with incorrect DOB — it shows **2006 instead of 2007**. Her **birth certificate and 10th marksheet both correctly show 2007**. The passport was later **cancelled**, and she never renewed it. She’s now **20 (major)**.

Can she still apply for a **re-issue and get the DOB corrected in one go**, even though the old passport was cancelled? If yes, what’s the correct process to follow?

Has anyone done this recently? Any guidance would help. 🙏
