My friend (24F), her sister (16F), and their mom fled an ab*sive home in Gurgaon 2 days ago. Their father (retired Air Force) found them today and is trying to force them back. We called the police but they dismissed it as a “family matter” and left (the father has high-level contacts). The mom is terrified and the father is physically stopping them from leaving. Need urgent help from any NGO or high-level police contact in Gurgaon who can intervene. The courts are closed for the weekend so a lawyer can’t get an order yet. Please help. What can steps can be taken right now to ensure safety?

Location: Gurgaon (Gurugram).

The Mother: She earns 1 Lakh/month but the father has financial control. They have the means to be independent but are being physically stopped.

Police Response: The local station has failed to act and is effectively siding with the abuser.
