April 24, 2026 at 10:28 amLooking for advice on next steps. I hired **Xtended Space Packers and Movers (Delhi)** in January 2026 for a relocation. Paid everything and was promised door-to-door delivery within 3 to 4 business days.**It has been over 3 months. My belongings have not arrived.**
Here’s what happened:
On pickup day, a third-party vendor was assigned without my knowledge and all my belongings were packed in a rush and not at all with care. Extra charges were demanded at the door. From that point, no tracking information, no delivery timeline, no proactive communication from either the company or the vendor unless I chased them.
I sent a formal email in late February. It was ignored. I called repeatedly and was dodged. The last time the vendor spoke to me was 28 March, he said delivery could happen “anytime within the day,” very disrespectfully, disconnected, and has not picked up since.
What I’ve done so far:
* Filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline
* Posted publicly on LinkedIn and Twitter
* Wrote a Google Review to warn others
* Sent formal emails to the company including to a LinkedIn DM to the directorStill no response, no delivery, no location of my goods.
My questions:
1. At what point does this become a police matter — specifically cheating under IPC 420?
2. Is it worth filing in consumer court and if so, which court would have jurisdiction given I’m no longer in Delhi?
3. Has anyone dealt with this company specifically or something similar?Any advice appreciated. Happy to share more details if helpful.
