        Hi everyone,

Need some legal guidance regarding a consumer dispute currently filed in Hyderabad Consumer Commission.

        Background:

        – I took a loan through Fibe for an aligner treatment at Partha Dental (~₹70k).

        – Within 24 hours, I clearly informed them that I did not want to continue with the treatment and requested cancellation.

        – No actual aligner treatment was started. Only a basic scaling/cleaning procedure was done.

        – Despite this, Partha Dental refused cancellation and demanded “facilitation charges.”

        – Since the issue was unresolved, we filed a consumer complaint case in the District Consumer Commission, Hyderabad.

Today I’m expected to receive the case number. However, court staff informed us that notices to the opposite parties may only be sent around June 22 because of summer Holidays between May 7 to June 5.

Meanwhile, Fibe is continuously sending overdue emails, payment reminders, and warnings that my CIBIL/credit score will be impacted.

This situation is becoming mentally exhausting because:
        – The matter is already before the Consumer Court.
        – I’m waiting for legal proceedings.
        – But at the same time I’m being pressured daily for EMI payments.
        – The amount is huge for me, I wasn’t proceeded for treatment, Partha dental Clinic and Fibe both aren’t responding properly. But they desperately want to deduct money from my account.

        My questions:

        1. Since the matter is already filed before the Consumer Commission, can Fibe still continue recovery-related emails and overdue pressure?

        2. Is there any legal mechanism to request temporary suspension/pause of EMI recovery until the dispute is decided?

        3. Can they legally report overdue/default to CIBIL while the dispute is sub judice?

        4. Should I send a separate legal notice/email to Fibe attaching proof of the consumer case filing?

        5. Is there any interim relief process available in Consumer Court for situations like this?

I’m not trying to avoid liability unfairly — I genuinely disputed the treatment almost immediately and approached the court because no resolution was provided.

Would appreciate practical legal advice from anyone familiar with consumer disputes or fintech loan issues.
